What the syllabus expects
- angles classed as right, acute, obtuse or reflex
- angles that are vertically opposite, angles sitting along a straight line, and angles clustered about a single point
- the angles formed where a transversal cuts a pair of parallel lines, namely corresponding, alternate and interior angles
- the properties (symmetry among them) of triangles, of the special quadrilaterals, and of regular polygons such as the pentagon, hexagon, octagon and decagon
- grouping the special quadrilaterals by the properties they possess
- for a convex polygon of any kind, the total of its interior angles and the total of its exterior angles
- building basic geometric figures from supplied data, using ruler, compasses, set squares and protractors wherever appropriate
